Wednesday, October 29th

Math:  Today in math we traced the faces of each 3d shape and decided what shape the face was.  A circle or a square.  When we were finished with this work we learned a new Halloween math game.

Writer's Workshop:  Today for writing we practiced thinking of ideas of things to write about in our journal.  We then had time to free write in our journals.  We are doing a great job using our brave spelling!  Way to go!

WE HAD PHY ED TODAY!

Reading/Phonics: Today we learned about the letter Qq and the sound it makes.  We read the Alphatales story The Quiet Quail.  We brainstormed words that start with the letter Q and worked on our letter Q poems.  

Daily 5:  Today we learned about Word Work.  We practiced getting our supplies and finding a quiet place to work.
