Math: Today we used a balance scale to weigh a variety of items in the classroom. We first estimated which one we thought would be heavier. We loved this so much, we asked to play with them at free time! :)
Writer's Workshop: Today we talked about expanding our stories and writing at least two sentences.

Dr. Seuss Day! On Friday, March 2nd Kindergarten will be celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday with a day FILLED with Seuss activities. Please have your child wear as much read as they have, they will become "things" that day. We will also be making green eggs and ham!
IMPORTANT: REPORT CARDS ARE SCHEDULED TO COME HOME ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 7TH BUT SINCE I WILL NOT BE BACK YET FROM VACATION-REPORT CARDS FOR OUR CLASS WILL BE SENT HOME ON FRIDAY, MARCH 9TH WHEN I AM BACK. THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING!
