Math:  Today in math we worked with our partners playing the one more game.  We introduced this game on Monday and today we focused on using our math talk cards and making sure we use our math talk.  Ex. "7 is one more than 6."  We worked really hard today with our partners.

Writer's Workshop:  Today we worked on remembering to have capital letters and a punctuation mark at the end.  We are getting really good at remembering our spaces and using our brave spelling.

WE HAD PHY ED TODAY!

Phonics: Today we started our work on number words.  Today we learned how to spell the word zero.  The other numbers I have a song to sing to remember how to spell but zero I do not so we made up our own song to help us remember.  This is how it goes:
Z   E  R  O  Zero,
Zero is our hero,
Zeros look like circles,
zeros look like buttons,
Z   E  R   O Zero,
Zero is our helper!

We were very proud of our song.  Ask your child to sing it for you.
