Storybook Reader: Today we heard the story My School's a Zoo.
Math: We did some reviewing today by playing Number Bingo as well as some Roll and Record games!
Music Today!
Storytime: We started another Magic Tree House book- Dingos at Dinnertime
Phonics: We played a new smart board interactive game called Building Words. We practiced 3 and 4 letter words.
Assessments: I continued to work on end of the year assessments. I am so proud of how much your children have learned! Thanks for all your support!
Also...I was glad to be back today, I sure missed these kiddos the last few days. I am thankful that I was able to volunteer on the 6th grade field trip up to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center. Thanks for all your support and understanding. It sounds like the kiddos did great with the guest teachers!
The end of the year is coming quick-CRAZY! Some reminders:
- Track and Field day is scheduled for this Friday, May 25th. The kindergartners will be participating in a 50 m running event and a few more activities that morning. They will not be timed or measured. This is a way for them to get an idea what Track and Field day is all about and will fully participating in first grade. Kindergarteners will be finished by approximately 10:00. Please have your child wear Purple on Friday- that is our class color.
- Be the teacher day-please help your child fill out their Be the Teacher lesson plan and return to school. Please list any materials you may need from me.
- We will also be having "Game Day" on Tuesday, May 29th. More info to come.
- Kindergarten Graduation for our class will be on Friday, June 1st at 1:00. This will be in the Large Group room of the Elementary School.
