Math:
This week in math we have been focusing on measuring. We have used Popsicle sticks, locking cubes and paperclips to measure a variety of items around the classroom. Some of our math vocabulary words are shorter, longer, taller, measure, estimate, and same.
Reading/Phonics:
Letters: V and W
Words: can, or
Daily 5: We are in full swing with all 5 of our stations. Ask your child which is their favorite.
Social Studies: Solving problems
Reminders:
Please make sure your child has warm clothes for recess. We go outside as long as the temp/windchill is 0 degrees and above. Snowpants, boots, hats, WARM mittens. Please make sure to label all items as many are the same.
If you haven't sent in the scrapbook page/baby picture I need them ASAP. Please contact me if you need supplies.
