Math:

This week in math we worked on more and fewer.  We played a game using uni fix cubes.  One person breaks 10 behind their back and the partner would try to pick the hand that had the "more" or "fewer."

Storybook Reader:

Volleyball Send off:

We lined the halls to wish luck to the Maple Lake Volleyball team!  Their hard work paid off because they are now the 2A State Volleyball CHAMPS!!!

Veteran's Day:

We talked about what a veteran is and why we celebrate Veteran's Day.  We thanked our veteran's for keeping us safe and for their service to our country.  We watched a powerpoint created by Sean Nies, a veteran, who sent us pictures about his time overseas.  We made a soldier project  and veteran's day hats as well.

Read to self- we made it to 15 minutes-way to go!!! Because of this we had a short dance party at the end of the day with of course the..disco ball!!  Now that we made it we started building our stamina with the next station called Work on Writing!

Math:

This week in math we worked on decomposing the numbers 8,9, and 10 and then began learning about the vocabulary words fewer, more and same.  

Art:

This was our first week of art with Mary.  We made leaf rubbing pictures!  We LOVED it!
