Just a few reminders…
Please bring in a WRAPPED $3.00 or less book to school by Thursday, December 19th for our book exchange. Please have your child write his/her name on the inside cover. Please try and have the book be gender neutral.
Polar Express day is Friday, December 20th. Please have your child wear their Pajamas. We will be watching the book read as we drink hot chocolate and eat puff corn.
Your child will be getting a Holiday Homework packet sent home on Friday. If they return this when we return after break I will eat lunch with them in the classroom.
I will send home all snow pants, boots, hats and mittens to be washed over the break. Please remember to send them back when we return.

Peek at the last few weeks
Storybook Reader! |
Mrs. Tongen came in as "Tom Turkey" to try and convince the class to eat roast beef for Thanksgiving! |
We were dressed for the Holiday, my little pilgrim boys and girls! |
We have books wrapped under our tree and each day 2 kids get to open a present and read their books to the class! |
Our Elf on the Shelf came to our classroom last week. We named him "Sparkles". He can be pretty sneaky though. This day he decorated our tree with toilet paper. So silly! |
Silly Sparkles! |
Our Deck the Halls day. Come check out our very festive hallway. LOVE IT!!! |
School of Excellence
On Tuesday, December 10th we will have our School of Excellence program at 1:15. This is a great honor that only 11 schools in the state of MN receive every year. Each grade level has something planned to show how great our school is. Come join us in the High School gym if you are able.
Winter Clothes
Brrrr it's cold outside, please remember to have WARM mittents, hat, snow pants, boots and a warm coat. We are outside for almost 30 minutes so bundle up warm!
